But you quickly realized that it takes a lot more than giving great financial advice to grow your practice.

It’s up to you to find new business, keep your current clients happy, manage your team, keep track of the financials,  handle the administrative paperwork issues, and constantly put out fires that come your way every day.

It feels like you’re always playing catchup which is causing you to become overworked, stressed, and worried about your business.

To sum it up, you’re not seeing the kind of growth you’ve hoped for.

I Know How You Feel 

These were the exact problems we were having in 2012

In fact, these are the most common problems all financial advisors have.

I was struggling to grow my business and was always wondering if I was doing things the right way. 

Once I realized this and noticed other advisors were wrestling with the same issues,

I began working to try to solve this question;

What do the Top Advisors do to create their ideal practice without sacrificing their family life?

With this question in mind, we began making small but effective changes to our practice to model those who have already achieved the success we were looking for.

Our Story: From Solo Advisor to Million Dollar Practice  

My name is Dave Zoller, and I’m part of a team of 6 at Streamline Financial Services.

Along with 2 other CFPs, we were able to grow and scale our firm to a level we couldn’t have dreamed of just a few years earlier. And this was all done with close to $0 spent on marketing/advertising. The best part is we have ideal clients we love to serve and who truly value our advice.

After a few years of this growth,  It wasn’t too long until other advisors started asking us how we were accomplishing this. To be honest, we weren’t exactly sure why. It wasn’t until we began studying the things we were doing that we started to understand what was going on.

We discovered that using solid financial advice coupled with a deep understanding of how people think,  we were able to easily communicate in ways that clients and prospects could understand. Using these techniques, we were able to influence our clients to make good financial decisions and to refer others to us.

We also learned that the systems and structure we set up internally were helping us advisors spend time on our most valuable activities, rather than the operational duties that can take up so much time.

 

Streamline My Practice Was Born  

I began to write down these specifics systems, techniques, and best practices in this blog so that our colleagues could read them to see if it would to help them improve their business.

We hope this website can be a place for other advisors to learn and implement practical advice on growing your practice so that they can achieve the same results that we were able to get.

Why Help Other Advisors?

This can be such a competitive industry where it often feels like advisors are vying over the same clients just to survive.

The way we see it is that there are more people that need quality financial advice than there are advisors available to provide it.

We know there are a lot of advisors out there who don’t genuinely care about their clients. If that’s you, this website is not for you. 

This website is for the real advisors who are looking to make a positive change in their client’s lives. If I can help those advisors grow their practices and enjoy their business, that means more clients will receive better help and improve their lives. And that’s deeply satisfying to me! We need more quality advisors out there.
